Think Russian Roulette, but no guns or bullets because we’re anti-violence here, kids! Your mission: Draw as many cards as possible while avoiding the one with the exploding kitten, a.k.a. the cutest “Game Over” card ever! The deck contains cards that let players peek at cards before drawing, force others to draw multiple cards, or cause the deck to be shuffled. Meow-ty fine for the whole family!

See #1, but that card art, though… the images are too horrible (read: incredible) for children! For mature players only (?)

This is your chance to be the hero that bards sing about!

  1. THE RESISTANCE: COUP

From ancient times, travel to the distant future where the government is all about profit, profit, profit; where society is plagued with poverty, and the people are desperate. You are humanity’s last ray of hope, The Resistance, and your goal is to destroy the influence of your rivals and drive them into exile. You have to bluff and deceive your way to survive!

Choose among various roles that include Werewolf, Troublemaker, and Seer – all of which come with a special ability that you can use to determine who gets the final howl! This fast game for 3-10 players (quite a pack!) takes only 10 minutes to complete… but it’s so fun and engaging that you’ll surely want to play again one more time – or five.

A show of wits and humor

  1. CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY

Aside from being literate, you need a healthy amount of wit to claim victory in this game! Collect “Awesome Points” for every awesome answer to questions presented by the “Card Czar”. Pick the perfect combination of white answer cards that will poke fun at humanity and cause your opponents to roll on the floor laughing!

  1. WHAT DO YOU MEME?

Meme-llennials, gather round! Show off just how much of a hit you are at parties by coming up with the funniest memes guaranteed to make your audience gag! Rack your brains and use the most (in)appropriate Caption Cards to complement the Photo Card in play. Bat your eyelashes at the rotating judge and hope that you’ll be declared the funniest ever for every round.

Satisfy the need for speed

  1. HALLI GALLI

Halli Galli.jpg

This game will make you crave for fruits even when it’s not yet time for dessert! Players have to watch out for sets of exactly five fruit. As each person sets down cards, you must be quick to ring the bell once five of one kind of fruit have been revealed on the table. If you’re correct, you get to collect the cards (and fruit). Once all 56 playing cards have been thrown down, the game ends. The one with the most fruit, err, cards, wins!

  1. SPEED CUPS

This game requires good hand-eye coordination to recreate images on cards with colored cups, and a fast hand to ring the bell when everything’s done. The first one in each round to ring the bell and have the correct sequence get to claim the demo card. Whoever has the most cards once all cards have been drawn and all cups have been stacked will be declared the winner.

  1. UGLYDOLL CARD GAME

Don’t be fooled by the name of this game, because Uglydoll can be pretty… intense! Keep turning over cards until you spot three matching Uglys. Make sure to snatch them quickly when you do, or your opponents will gain the upper hand! Get the most matches, and end the game with a beautiful finish.

  1. GEISTES BLITZ (GHOST BLITZ) 1.0

Geistes Blitz (Ghost Blitz) 1.0.jpg

There’s no need to be afraid! As long as your reflex is good, acing this game is easy. Players have to use their keen powers of observation in determining what objects are colored the wrong way on the table. Players who rise to the occasion get the card, but those who don’t have to give one of theirs up. Aim to grab the most cards so you won’t get the boo-t!

  1. GEISTES BLITZ (GHOST BLITZ) 2.0

Basically an upgrade of #11, but with a new female ghost and tweak in the rules that add spice and a little scare to the original.

  1. QUARTO MINI

Quarto Mini.jpg

Push the boundaries of your logical ability with Quarto Mini! Featuring a 4×4 board and 16 pieces, each piece has four dichotomous attributes – color, height, shape, and consistency. Each piece is either black or white, tall or short, square or round, and hollow or solid. Your objective is to place the fourth piece in a row in which all four pieces have at least one attribute in common. The twist is that your opponent gets to choose the piece you place on the board each turn.

  1. PYLOS MINI

Pylos Mini.jpg

In Pylos Mini, you want to be one who places the final ball on top of the pyramid. Sounds simple enough, right? Well… it depends. Players have to take turns placing one of their fifteen light or dark balls next to one another in a square, creating “levels” until a final ball rests on top of the fourth layer. The strategy kicks in when players form a square of his/her own color, which will allow him/her to reserve balls for future placements. It’s actually rather complex, but you’ll figure it out because you’re smart… right?

  1. QUIXO MINI

X’s and O’s are not kisses and hugs, but symbols that you need to form an orthogonal or diagonal line to win. It’s the Tic-Tac-Toe of your childhood, but on a whole new level that will challenge your mind. With an additional blank tile, getting a win will be difficult – but ain’t that the exciting part?

  1. QUORIDOR MINI

Quoridor Mini.jpg

The abstract strategy game Quoridor Mini is surprisingly deep for its simple rules. The object of the game is to advance your pawn to the opposite edge of the board. On your turn, you may either move your pawn or place a wall. You may hinder your opponent with wall placement, but not completely block him off. Watch out, because he/she will try to do the same to you! The first pawn to reach the opposite side wins.
